Tasha Fierce is a thirtysomething sex-positive feminist of color, queer femme, unabashed fat chick and Los Angeles native. She’s written about body image, fat acceptance, queer issues, race politics and sexuality for various independent publications online and offline since 1996. Most recently, her work can be found in the anthologies White Riot: Punk Rock and the Politics of Race, and Hot & Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love & Fashion, due out in November 2012.
She has also been featured in publications such as Bitch Magazine, Corset Magazine, Jezebel, Feministe, Racialicious, Shapely Prose, Zora & Alice, The Huffington Post and Clutch Magazine.
